Miffed over allegations of her ex-husband’s having a new lover, comedienne
Ai-Ai has decided to withdraw her greencard petition for Gerald Sibbayan.
As reported by a popular entertainment website, Ai-Ai withdrew on January 8, 2025, three months after their separation in October of last year.
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) favored Ai-Ai’s withdrawal petition. The Petition for Alien Relative for Gerald was filed July 15, 2021.
The report said that in the USCIS decision dated March 17, 2025, it stated: “After a thorough review of your petition and the record of evidence, we must inform you that the approval of your petition has been automatically revoked.”
In her petition, the comedienne reported that she filed the withdrawal because she learned about that “third party” in her relationship with Gerald.
Ai-Ai also plans to file for a divorce against Gerald, who separated with her through a Viber message last October 14, 2024.
(NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
