2024 Indo-Pacific Forum
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., on Tuesday, May 21 graced the 6th Indo-Pacific Business Forum (IPBF) joined by over 500 business leaders, project developers, industry experts, and government stakeholders across the region to build on the potential of the Philippines in attracting direct foreign investments through establishing deeper worker-centered economic ties with potential partners.
During his keynote speech, the president highlighted the importance of the forum in helping the Philippines position itself in the global economic landscape.
“This forum provides a platform to showcase our investment opportunities, economic potential, and ongoing development projects, solidifying our leadership role in the Indo-Pacific region,” said Marcos.
“An economically strong Philippines will be a valuable ally in the region,” he added.
The 2024 IPBF centered on the critical discussions on clean energy, digital transformation, supply chain resilience, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
