Sen. Bato next to be arrested

Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa is next to be arrested by Interpol following the issuance of an arrest warrant by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

He is a co-accused alongside former President Rodrigo Duterte in the case of crimes against humanity due to the killings that occurred during their bloody drug war.

Joel Butuyan in an interview with DZBB.

Butuyan, who is on the ICC’s List of Counsel, represents the families of victims of extrajudicial killings during Duterte’s drug war.

Dela Rosa was the first Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) during Duterte’s regime.

According to Butuyan, many Filipino witnesses are expected to go to the ICC to testify in the case against Duterte.

A chartered plane carrying Duterte is already en route to The Hague, Netherlands after he was arrested by Interpol at NAIA Terminal 3 yesterday morning. (ROSE NOVENARIO)
