PNP reassigns 8 officials

Eight officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have been reassigned effective today.

Among those affected is PBGen. Jean Fajardo, the Chief of the PNP Public Information Office, who has been appointed to the Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon).

Fajardo will succeed PBGen. Redrico Maranan, who has been transferred to the Police Regional Office 7 (Central Visayas). In turn, PCol. Randulf Torres Tuaño will take over Fajardo’s position at the Public Information Office.

Additionally, PBGen. Bowenn Masaunding has been appointed Deputy Director for Comptrollership, transitioning from the Police Regional Office 9 (Zamboanga Peninsula).

He will be succeeded by PBGen. Rodel Cuevas Rodolfo, who comes from the PNP Aviation Security Group, with PCol. Melvin Napiloy set to replace him.

From the Area Police Command – Northern Luzon, PBGen. Wilson Asueta has been transferred to serve as the Officer-in-Charge Deputy of the Directorate for Information and Communications Management.

Furthermore, PBGen. Eleazar Matta of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) has been reassigned to the Highway Patrol Group (HPG), while PBGen. William Segun has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge Deputy of the Area Police Command. PCol. Rolando Cuya Jr. will succeed Matta in the PDEG. (ZIA LUNA)
