Julie Anne San Jose as Ginebra San Miguel calendar girl for 2025 did not sit well for a lot of netizens.
Reactions to her recent launch were far from congratulatory. She was bashed left and right and people thought it was a wrong career move.
It didn’t help that her launch as a calendar girl came almost right on the heels of her singing inside a church altar.
There are a plethora of reasons why netizens were infuriated when Julie Anne sang inside a church.
One, they found her long gown with knee-high slit inappropriate for the venue.
Two, they thought that her performance of ABBA’s Dancing Queen was clearly out of place. She could have sung gospel songs instead of a party song.
Not surprisingly, Julie Anne caught the collective ire of the netizens in the comment sections of various social media accounts when her calendar poster was launched.
