IN what appears to be another story meant to clear the Bureau of Immigration, Shiela Guo on Tuesday claimed before the Senate subcommittee on justice and human rights hearing that the Guo siblings escaped by riding small boats.
According to Shiela, her sister – dismissed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo was with them enroute Malaysia, in what Senator Sherwin Gatchalian earlier described was a “well-hatched escape plan.”
“Sakay po kami ng boat,” said during the Senate investigation on the supposed vanishing act of the Guo family following the issuance of several warrants and subpoenas by both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
According to Shiela Guo, all three of them (Alice, Wesley and herself) were fetched by a van from their residence and traveled from dinner time to midnight.
Interestingly, she could not elaborate as to the place where they were supposedly fetched and the route they traveled by land.
Shiela would only claim that they rode a small white boat, then transferred to a bigger boat. (ANGEL F. JOSE)
