Trillanes calls VP Sara as ‘delusional’ – and unfit for the post

AFTER spending some time reading in full a four-page internet-generated copy of Vice President Sara Duterte’s letter, former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV cited an urgent need for the country’s second highest official to consider professional help amid what he aptly described as psychological instability.

Trillanes particularly hinted at the Vice-President’s “emotionally-packed letter” addressed to Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rommel Marbil over the latter’s directive which effectively stripped her of her  75 police escorts in an apparent effort to augment PNP’s police visibility and crime prevention.

As if the term “psychologically unstable” isn’t enough Trillanes said that Duterte’s reaction only goes to prove that she is “unfit” for the second highest elective post in the country, even as he claimed that such an attitude is a combination of distorted sense of entitlement and temper tantrums.

“The open letter of VP Sara is wrong on so many levels,” reads part of the former senator’s post on social media.

“But let me just summarize my conclusion: She’s an entitled, privileged child having temper tantrums because her security detail was reduced from almost 500 to 300,” he added.

This comes as Trillanes went as far as doubting whether or not Duterte still has the psychological stability required for such a high position in the government – “This shameful display of psychological instability clearly makes her unfit for VP. Imagine nyo na lang kung maging presidente yan. May TOPAK!” (ANGEL F. JOSE)
