It’s Showtime host  Vice Ganda has apologized to a male searchee after she scolded him for stealing a kiss from a female searcher.
“Sorry na mali ang reaction ko. Ang dating kasi sakin at sa ibang andun eh na-off si girl na sinunggaban sya ng halik and i thought na she felt violated. Since hindi naman pala I will apologize to the guy,” Vice Ganda said on his official X account where she posted a short video of the female searcher who denied that she was kissed.
Vice Ganda scolded a male searchee named Axel during the “EXpecially For You” segment of the noontime show.
Searchee was supposed to give a short message after he was not chosen by searcher Christine. Axel, instead gave Christine a kiss which to Vice Ganda is not proper.
“Oy, ‘di pwede ‘yun. That’s bad. You don’t do that. You ask for permission,” Vice Ganda wailed.
“Alam mo bang pwede kang mademanda sa ginagawa mo? You don’t do that. Hindi ka pwedeng nagnanakaw ng halik,” he added.
In the short video, Christine said Axel did not kiss her.
“Nabasa ko sa comment na yung iba galit tapos yung iba naiintindihan talaga at nakikita nila na wala naman talagang ginawang mali si Axel. Wala naman pong balak si Axel na ibeso ako. At saka hindi ko talaga naramdaman na gusto niya akong ibeso.
“Kasi po ang nangyari inspiring ko siya. Parang gusto niya akong i-hug. Since nakaupo ako, ang awkward ng position. Ang feeling ko kasing gusto niyang gawin ay iha-hug niya ako tapos ita-tap niya ‘yung likod ko. Parang comfort. Kaya ‘yun, yumuko siya kasi itatap niya ako na parang magtropa. ‘Yung position na ‘yun, parang na-misinterpret ng mga hosts ‘yun.
“To clarify lang po, walang nangyaring halik. Wala pong nakaw na halik na nangyari. Parang comforting lang talaga since emotional ako noong time na ‘yun,” Christine said. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
